Triple Ring Technologies and Aubrey Group Announce Strategic Partnership
NEWARK, California, October 2, 2007 – Triple Ring
Technologies, Inc., Triple Ring Technologies, a Palo Alto-based provider of
early-stage advanced research and development services, and Aubrey Group, Inc.,
a Southern California contract engineering and manufacturing firm specializing
in the development of medical devices, today announced a strategic partnership.
This agreement will allow the two organizations to offer a full range of
technology development services from concept through manufacturing to startup,
early-stage, and established medical device and life sciences companies.
Through the strategic partnership, the two organizations will be able to provide
medical device and life science companies with a coordinated, seamless transfer
between phases of a development project, reducing risk, and speeding time to
market. The partnership will ensure that proper focus is given to critical
issues throughout the project, and eliminate the chance for miscommunications
that often occur between non-coordinated development teams during project
handoffs. Both companies have extensive startup experience. Triple Ring delivers
best-of-breed technical capabilities, including systems engineering, physics,
optics, data analysis and algorithm development, while Aubrey Group provides
extensive experience in the design and manufacture of electromechanical,
implantable, disposable, and fluid processing products and systems.
Together, the companies will offer a choice to medical device entrepreneurs who
want to get their company’s product to market quickly without investing the time
and resources to build a development team from scratch. Such entrepreneurs can
now work confidently with one entity on all aspects of a development project,
from building a prototype and clinical proof of concept through the production
