Triple Ring is currently seeking talented contractors in the mechanical engineering community with experience in Machine Design. This is a contract position with an estimated duration of 2-3 months.
Mechanical Engineer, Machine Design

Responsibilities

  • Design of complex pioneering medical products and sub-systems

Qualifications

  • BSME minimum, background in machine design
  • Understanding of mechanical drives including gears, chains, DC motors, encoders, brakes, bearings
  • Understanding of structures - beam bending, bending and shear stresses, welded structures, etc.
  • Knowledge of common low volume fabrication processes (machining, sheet metal cutting/forming, etc.)
  • 4+ year's Machine Design experience
  • History of successful project completions
  • Medical device or other capital equipment design experience desired

Proficient in the following Product Development Software Applications

  • ProE WF4
  • Windchill

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment
  • Use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, etc)
