Government Grants

Triple Ring supports small companies and academic researchers through participation in grants, generally awarded by the National Institutes of Health or the Department of Defense.

For Small Businesses

Government grants have become an increasingly important source of non-equity dilutive funding for small companies, but entrepreneurs often lack familiarity with the process for obtaining grants and may not have the infrastructure in place to perform the required technical work. Triple Ring serves as a virtual engineering team able to accomplish ambitious goals while keeping a start-up’s overhead expenses and personnel management to a minimum.

For Academic Researchers

Academic researchers are increasingly pursuing translational technology development programs that are often outside the scope of what academic centers can accommodate. Triple Ring provides the breadth and depth of expertise necessary to execute advanced programs at the leading edge of science and technology.

As either a principal investigator or subcontractor, Triple Ring can help define and prepare grant applications for SBIR, STTR, R01, BRP, or other funding mechanisms. Our grant experts can help guide clients to the proper funding mechanisms, prepare statements of work and budgets, and guide clients through the complex application submission process. Once funding is received, Triple Ring performs the work with the same commitment to excellence brought to bear on all of our commercially funded efforts.
