Dr. Phillip MooreThe inaugural 2010 event on Feb 4 will feature Dr. Phillip Moore, director of the Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at UCSF Children's Hospital. Dr. Moore is internationally recognized for his research on MRI-guided surgical procedures. He specializes in the treatment of congenital heart disease and will discuss his work developing and testing new devices and procedures.

Description An overview of current fluoroscopy / angiography equipment and its use for the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease. Examples of current lab configurations and there use as well as case presentation of common catheter based treatment procedures. There will be a discussion of current trends and potential future needs in the field of interventional catheterization.
