MEET Todd L Harris
Todd comes to TRT after 12 years at SRI International where he managed and contributed to a wide variety of contract R&D projects for US Government and commercial clients. Notably, he was a contributor on a project that sought to develop a minimally invasive continuous glucose monitor using mid-infrared spectroscopy and participated in the animal trials for that technology. In addition, he lent his optical modeling expertise and practical knowledge of optoelectronic componentry and subsystems to a due diligence effort for a corporate acquisition in the retinal optical coherence tomography domain. Previous to SRI, he was with The Spectrum Lab at Montana State University where he worked on optical signal processing and optical memory technologies based on spatial-spectral holography and optical coherent transients in rare-earth activated transparent crystals – a technology platform that sought to develop ultra-wideband signal processors and optical memories for petaflops computing.
Todd received his PhD and MS, both in physics, from Montana State University – Bozeman and BS in physics from Case Western Reserve University.
