Staff Scientist

Dr. Daniel Badali has over a decade of experience developing complex systems that straddle the realms of software and hardware. As a Staff Scientist at Triple Ring Technologies, he has lent his technical leadership to a number of medical device development projects, utilizing technology such as GPU acceleration, Monte Carlo simulations, radiation therapy and treatment planning, and image reconstruction and processing algorithms. Daniel is also an established expert in radiation sterilization of medical devices, having co-invented Triple Ring’s virtual dose mapping technology, Dose Insight (www.doseinsight.com). By leveraging his expertise in cloud computing and radiation physics, Daniel was able to help secure $2M+ in funding from the FDA for the development of this technology.

Daniel holds a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from the University of Hamburg, Germany. He is a certified Professional Physicist (P.Phys.) from the Canadian Association of Physicists. Daniel has authored many peer-reviewed publications, and he is an inventor on 3 granted and pending patents.
