David Shack, PhD

Vice President, Product Development

David Shack has spent 30 years developing scientific measurement and analysis systems in a variety of fields including atomic force microscopy, X-Ray fluoroscopy, flow cytometry, genomic library preparation, and drugs of abuse testing among others. David’s technical experience is in the areas of algorithm development, embedded software development, fluidics, and optical measurement systems. David has held senior Engineering leadership positions at BD Biosciences and Agilent Technologies.

David received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He also holds an MSME from Stanford and a Bachelor’s of Applied Science from the University of Toronto.
