Robert de Saint Phalle
Director, Product Design
Robert brings to Triple Ring his unique interdisciplinary approach to product design which blends product development, multimedia, and design strategy. Leveraging some of the latest digital and physical production techniques, he delivers award-winning products and experiences across healthcare, emerging technologies, and sustainability. Providing a bridge between disciplines, Robert collaborates with cross-functional teams to create and realize compelling visions for new technologies. Recent work includes the concept design of several groundbreaking microfluidic biomedical devices and solutions for environmental challenges. Robert’s work has received several awards including the 2019 TIME Magazine Invention of the Year for the Microplastics-Sensing AUV. He has been an adjunct professor of design and 3D media at The Cooper Union, Tyler School of Art & Architecture at Temple University, Massachusetts College of Art & Design, and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University.
Robert holds a BFA from The Cooper Union, an MFA from Bard College, and a certificate from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
