Triple Ring will be present at the 2025 JP Morgan week events in San Francisco, California. With our headquarters in nearby Silicon Valley, Triple Ring’s executives and managers always make time to meet the international crowd that converges on Union Square. At Triple Ring, Corporate Venture Building is the practice of building a separate venture from scratch – A new brand, team, program, revenue stream, or P&L to target untapped opportunity spaces – new customer segments, technologies or capabilities – outside of the core existing business. These efforts can be a fully internal, adjacent, fully external, or hybrid.

Triple Ring’s Joe Heanue will be participating in a discussion panel Thursday, September 12 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston. The session, Unveiling CVC Investment Strategies in Digital Health & MedTech, includes seasoned funding experts from the Digital Health and MedTech industries. The panel, moderated by Vijay Kori, also includes Suzie Yoon, Investment Principal at Takeda Digital Ventures; Carrie Hurwitz Williams, VP and Partner at McKesson Ventures; John Pavletic, Executive Director at Lilly Ventures; and Alex de Winter, VP of New Ventures at Danaher Ventures.
During the session, panelists will dive into a range of timely and important topics centered on Corporate Venture Capital and the factors that drive their investment decisions. They will discuss which areas in Digital Health and MedTech are primed for growth, how they strike the right balance between strategic alignment and financial interests and analyze the current valuation environment.
